This will be short, because every muscle from my shoulders down to my fingers is starting to tighten up. And my hands feel like I've spent eight hours working a jackhammer.
That's because I've been steaming and squirting and scraping (insert string of very bad words here) wallpaper all (very bad word here) day. Holy (bad word). Whoever put that paper on is a sick and twisted individual. It was pretty much fused with the wall. We even had experts come in and give us estimates for getting it off. $300, and that was iffy. So we spent $17 to rent a wallpaper steamer this morning. The paper just laughed at it. Chortled.
Finally we steamed and scraped and got most of the top layer off. OMG. Eight hours of scraping. What's left is the bottom of the paper, still stuck there. But that stuff will come off, eventually, given enough scoring and scraping and hosing down with DIF wallpaper remover. The top layer was the beeeeeeyotch.
Judas priest. Where's the ibuprofen?
