Honda motors is apparently cheesed that Danica's naked skin was recently photographed in dangerous proximity to a Ford logo.
"We're a little concerned" said a Honda spokesperson. "If Danica is going to inspire the youth of America and show off her racing assets by being sprawled nearly naked across a car, we happen to think it should be Honda."
The reaction came as Danica got her abs, thighs and other naked areas dangerously close to a vintage Ford logo in the current issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.
Danica's people would only say they are always open to counter offers from Honda.

I never thought much about Danica's value to the league as far as publicity. But I'm amazed at the print this swim suit thing gets.
Outside of ICS fans--and not counting Helio at this point--could most non-fans name one driver in the series except her. Doubt it.
I'm saying--to my amazement--Danica is a very, very valuable asset to the series and it would be very bad to lose her anytime soon.
Wow. I actually said that.

Would a mid-engine Acura NSX have given Danica & SI photogs enough hood space for her to pose on?
A tuner Civic-R would not have evoked what her bikini & the Cobra did... did Honda really complain (or is this P-Dog humor)???
