I always figured that Robin had this one right. Wonder if the overseas races will happen next year?

I'm hopeful this turns out to be a positive change in all areas affected. While I laid blame for the disaster of Indy style racing at TG's feet, it's also clear that he saved the whole genre with his efforts to reunify...hopefully not too little, too late. I hope Vision can turn into some type of contender. I also hope that TG can see and influence a more rapid addressing of the issues surrounding the poor state of competition in the series now that he's stepped back a bit more from the burden of running things.

"it's also clear that he saved the whole genre with his efforts to reunify...hopefully not too little, too late."
In hindsight, his financial efforts in reunifying were his downfall. The lesson of today and him getting removed from power was he should've just let ChampCar fall into bankruptcy and everything go with it, with him then picking up what he wanted for 2 or 3 cents on the dollar.
