Dave Newton of ESPN.com has an update on the pot hole repair at Daytona. Apparently it's not like shoveling in some hot asphalt on a city street and calling it good. Read it HERE.
Yesterday Terry Blount went off a bit about the hole. "A spectacular Daytona 500 became the Pothole 220, a construction zone of ineptitude and disappointment in between some stunning racing." Read it HERE.
Bonus, auto-play video on top of Terry's story featuring Nicole Manske Briscoe, quickly rising as a glamor challenger to IndyCar wife Ashley Judd. If Nicole starts referring to Ryan Briscoe as "my husband" we'll know it is ON.

Hmm... Carl Fisher had this same problem one hundred years ago. The solution? Bricks baby. Lots and lots of bricks. Then DW can say that NASCAR invented the name "brickyard"

NASCAR invented the brick. They still drive it today.

You know, call me crazy, but a 500 mile race should be over at 500 miles. Seems like adding an extra few laps detracts from the point of being the driver who did 500 miles first. Sure yellow finishes suck, but that's racing.

P-Dog normally publishing the real deal misses completely. Nicole and Ashley are fine. LindyCar is good. But let me say EMMA DIXON. HELLO.
