no slight intended to Miss McIntosh, I wish the best to all of Pressdog's women but, did I just see Pressdog (along with other computery-writer types My Name is IRL, Revolution and Pagoda) on the front page of the new IRL website? I'm trying to comprehend the meaning of this. Were suitcases of money involved? Free tickets and beer? is this an attempt by the powers that be to quash the voices of the loyal opposition? did r. bernard send private jets to move y'all into new offices at the Brickyard? on his first day???

Cute girl. Anything in a two-piece?

Her comment on Danicker was priceless.

Any driver who dreams about winning at Eldora, is OK in my book.

I feel dizzy. P-Dog and Jeff on the front page of IndyCar.com? I feel like the band I opened up for one time in some crappy bar in Schenectady is headlining Dodger Stadium or something. Just don't forget us little folks, OK?

Oh, and can you use your considerable clout to set up a "Blogger Tweetup" or something with "Lizod"? Hell-o, Lizod...

Take it easy, Geeky. I strongly believe that the front page blogger thing on IndyCar.com will eventually be a rotating list of the latest updates from many many sites, not just the ones listed there. I think it's not fully live yet. The case of pressdog T-shirts I sent to them had NOTHING to do with it. I swear.

See, there's where IndyCar can make (and has been making) some inroads with the fans. Blogger- and fan-friendliness. NASCAR pays some lip service to that with their supposed "fan panel", but I'll be plugged if I can find anything of any substance on their trainwreck of a site (I consistently can't find admittedly pretty complicated stuff like, you know, race start times or previous race results). There are fan blogs on there, but they're incredibly shoddy in quality, and the volume that they let in drowns out most of the "good stuff" (which usually isn't that good, anyway). If IndyCar plays their cards right with blogs, Twitter, the Facespaces or whatever, they're only going to look better in the end.
