A posse of us snagged Sarah Fisher after she qualified here Friday, and she represented thusly:
On her qualifying run -- We might have been a little bit heavier on downforce than we probably should have been. We were a little conservative and kept going steps and steps each time we went out in practice. I don't know; it's a good, solid run. We'll see how it shakes out.
On the return to ovals -- On an oval I'm rally at home. I really feel like I know what direction we need to take from the driver's side. When Graham was in the car,, and you know all the feeling you get as a driver as far as the direction goes, when we struggled there with the car and car and so forth, it was tough, but now I know what direction we’re going in and what Jay (Howard) is facing and overall it is going to help our program.
On Sarah Fisher Racing's first two-car race -- It’s weird to crawl out of this car and go down the pit lane to my other car and see how it’s doing. That’s the weirdest part. I’m really proud of where how far we've come. It’s been everybody’s contributions on the team it’s not just one person one person that’s gotten the team where it’s at now, and we’re pretty proud of that.
Does two cars help preparations? -- We try to figure out what direction we are going in changes wise and in traffic and the adversity we face on track. I think universally Jay and I are seeing the same thing; we’re seeing the same driving styles, and it’s going to be really import as we roll into the month of may, more so than it is here.
Different approach to practice with two cars? -- We kind of just started the same exactly the same and just sort of went on our own program. It’s the first time out for us both being teammates and we're trying to get to know each other’s driving style and how we both like to tune the car. We didn't want to start off the weekend and try and work as one if we didn’t know if it was going to be in the same direction ultimately.
Different teammates at times have different solution for the same problems and I didn’t want Jay to have to deal with my solution if he didn’t like that as a driver, and vice-versa. But it was about learning about as a team universally big picture so when we roll into the month o f May, we have a better idea of how we can work together.
Is it hard to build a team and also focus on racing cars? --It’s very difficult to be to be adding and races in the of the season -- we added Kansas here for Jay and Long Beach for Graham. It shows signs that our team is growing and doing well, but it’s tough to show up for the race track and be prepared enough to present a car that is capable of finishing well, while at the same time you are developing this or growing people or growing equipment or whatever it is. It helps to move those two together. Next year we’re not going to be behind the eight ball as much as far as being prepared on both fronts.
How many more years? -- For me as a driver? I don’t know. Not many.

Sarah:
L-E-F-T ... the direction the cars (yours and Jay's) are going is LEFT!
In the races you had Graham in the car, it is much harder because the direction the car is going while traveling forward is LEFT and RIGHT ... it's called DRIVING.
