The Official News Release:
MIAMI BEACH (Sept. 30, 2010)- Sarah Fisher, of Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR), brought a fleet of pink to Florida today in preparation for the Café do Brasil Indy 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) on Oct. 2. In partnership with the team's primary sponsor, Dollar General, Fisher has once again turned all of her branding pink for the season finale race to increase awareness of breast cancer and raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
Fans of Fisher and the "On Track For A Cause" campaign were able to participate in a special project by entering a pink design for Fisher's helmet. The winning helmet design was announced on September 13. The winner will receive a small replica painted helmet and will have their artwork featured on Fisher's helmet, which will be worn throughout the event this weekend at HMS.
Saturday night's race will mark Fisher's fourth start at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS), and 83rd career IZOD IndyCar ® Series start. Her best finish at the track came in 2001 when she finished 2nd, the first podium finish for a woman in IZOD IndyCar Series history.
"I'm really looking forward to being back here at HMS," said Fisher, who will celebrate her 30th birthday on Monday. "I scored my first podium finish here, so it brings back great memories. We had the opportunity to test here on Monday and I think we have a great baseline to start with for tomorrow's practice session."
Fisher will get "On Track For A Cause" on Fri., Oct. 1, 2010, in the No. 67 pink Dollar General Honda powered Dallara in preparation for the Café do Brasil Indy 300. Fisher's best IndyCar Series finish remains second and was achieved at HMS. The race will be shown live on VERSUS at 6 p.m. EST under the lights at HMS.

The hot rumor going around Indy, is that Sarah will either retire from racing after Saturday's race (and start a family), while running her race team or that she will run Indy one more time (the first oval of 2011) and then retire as a driver after the Indy 500.
Either way, I think we will see another young American driver in the #67 car for either all or most of next year besides Sarah. Its anyone's guess who Sarah, The O'Gara's and Dollar General would be interested in. But one name to keep your eye on is JR Hildebrand. He fits DG's mold to a 'T' He may not be Graham Rahal, but he has a lot of the same characteristics. Sarah wants to give DG the best "bang for the buck" (and keep them around, once 2012 comes along). A young, marketable, talent like Hildebrand, might just do it.
So what I am saying is, root hard for Sarah on Saturday night. It might be the last time she saddles up in a Indy Car as a driver.

@ Trickie,
I wouldn't knock JR just yet - only two drives in a barren year isn't the best way to ingratiate himself to the series.
With a full time seat, I see him potentially doing quite well.

Nice! My girl would love to have a racing car like Sarah Fisher's. She would probably be satisfied with it, even if it's just a toy car. LOL!

Pink is a nice color. It's used to raise awareness for a good cause, too, so that's extra nice. Hmm... yeah, pink is not something you often see in race cars, but it honestly looks pretty well.
