In a breathtaking fit of anger, EPSN.com has retaliated against pressdog.com for continually spanking its ass by hiding their open-wheel racing page.
Visitors who go to rpm.espn.com get this page:
After a futile search for "IndyCar" or "Open-Wheel" or even "Other Racing," only users who know to click on "All Sports" (circled in yellow above), then scroll down to click "Racing" on the resulting page will get to the IndyCar, F1, NHRA "coverage."
pressdog commenter sciguy reported the hiding after pressdog Correspondent Hotty Leilani Münter blew the lid off pdog domination with her story, SI, ESPN Puzzled by pressdog Ratings, posted on Jan. 2.
"Good news!," sciguy posted, "after reading this (Münter post), ESPN went to work to bury open wheel further!!! Now there's no direct link from the NASCAR page. You have to go to "All Sports" and from the flyout select racing. Once you've navigated to that page, you can find out about Danica's speeding ticket..."
The mercurial pressdog himself would only say "If you're saying espn.com is N-word's bitch, then I'm sincerely shocked to hear it."
The direct link to the espn racing ghetto is: http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/racing/index

Am I the only one who finds it funny that "NASCAR" and "Racing" are considered different categories? Come on, I can't be the only one laughing at that.

It's kind of like putting "WWF" and "Wrestling" together.

Ha! Cool...I am honored. Hey wait - does this make me the only tool still cruising the ESPN ghetto?
It's sort of crazy-we are now more buried than: i) AFL, ii) mixed martial arts, iii) poker (yes-friggin' poker), iv) lacrosse, and v) the WNBA, among other notables.
Man, PDog, they hate you!

Apparently ESPN is lashing out at all racing, not just open wheel. I just stumbled upon this headline: ESPN DUMPS DIRECT NASCAR LINK ON FRONT PAGE:
