Time again for the continuing saga of "(Someone) to F1."
In a bid to capitalize on F1's wild popularity in the states, someone is forming USF1 with plans to use a $64 million budget (paltry by F1 standards) to put two Americans on the grid in 2009. Apparently companies want to capture the amazing television ratings bonanza of having Americans participate in passless road and street races in places like Bahrain which are televised live at 7 a.m. Central on SPEED.
The USF1 technical director told the AP that Danica Patrick is under consideration because "she gets a lot of press." How do you say "Go Daddy" in Hungarian?
Apparently they also want to come out of the gate being known for hype instead of substance...

Grid/umbrella girls generally don't wear the 'Stand back, I'm a bitch' -mask while doing their "job". It won't be hard to figure out who Danica is. It won't take long in F1 to figure out what she isn't, either.
