the indy lights race was much better. they wore out the term "slicing and dicing." hasn't lights actually turned out to be more what TG had in mind at the time of the split in terms of affordable cars?

and while the ratings for the 500 were certainly disappointing, it's not surprising to me that no one watches Indycar. It's not a scientific poll, but I'm the only person I know who watched the 500, let alone the other races.

I think part of the TV ratings problem is the fact it was on ABC. Anything But Cars. All 'Bout Commercials. You get to see about 5 laps of racing for every 15 minutes of ads. It ruins the show, and I think people tune out, literally and figuratively.
