I stick by the statement that an ARCA Restrictor Plate test time doesn't matter. The fact Danica ran a ton of laps each day does, and it's a good thing. THe most important thing is to get a handle on the car, and be able to run in the draft. If that went well, then she was successful at the test.

Marc

One correction, Danica actually ran more than 92 laps. She also ran a backup car [A88] for 14 laps Sunday, altogether she ran close to 180 laps total for the two days.

Damon

227 total, 223 on Saturday/Sunday (4 on Friday)

There should be no excuses for anything but a good performance by Patrick in an ARCA superspeedway race. She has good equipment, and the level of competition in ARCA doesn't compare to what she'll be up against in any NASCAR series. Kyle Petty's first race was an ARCA race at Daytona and he won. More recently stock car newcomers Scott Speed and Ricky Carmichael had good performances in their ARCA debuts.

I think I could run 180 MPH in a restrictor plate NASCAR car at Daytona or Talladega.

We'll see what Princess and Milka DDuno have actually got, once they get to tracks that take some driver talent/experience to get around.

I think Munter will dust them both, BTW, in a stock car. Plus she is hotter too.

Nice to see the ladies(even Milka) running with the boyz. However the times mean nothing to me... kind of like "crowning" a WDC in F1 Winter Testing!!! :) :)

Mr Dickle... Success in racing is usually measured in $$$. My guess is Go Daddy & JR Motorsports catering budget is BIGGER than Ms. Munter's entire 2010 racing budget. Small teams & drivers usually don't "dust" anybody.

BTW, does being "hotter" gain you 5 MPH, or give ya better fuel mileage ??? :) :) Also stock cars usually qualify with in one second of each other (1st to 43rd) at plate tracks
