Hyper-accelerating NHRA hotty Melanie Troxel blew the doors off everyone and won the Lucas Oil Geoff Bodine Bobsled Challenge Sunday at Lake Placid, NY.
"I'm shocked," said Troxel, the first woman to ever compete in the event. "That final (gold medal) run didn't even feel that fast. It seemed like I hit the walls a lot, but I guess it was quick enough to win. There was definitely some beginner's luck on my side today."
The annual event raises money for the U.S. bobsled team. Earlier in the weekend Izod IndyCar's Dan Wheldon and his driver had a scary crash during an exhibition run. Neither was seriously injured.
Jayski's headline is that Logano won. I had to go to speed to get the unbiased story. (how bizarre is that?) In the N-word vs. NHRA, yes, Logano won. In the overall time trials, Melanie won. Good for her. And you are correct P-dog, she is a hotty! Love to see her in a top-fuel car again. On a side note, it is a sad day now that the "Snake" has retired and is selling his team.
