What can you do to help Vision Racing?
What difference can one little fan voice make? Plenty soldier. As long as you're willing to make it heard.
It's time to take up your pen and follow Sgt. pressdog into battle.
Let me see your WAR FACE, MISTER.
All ya gotta do is write a note. A letter. A few lines. Simple. It's effective. It's time for battle, friends. Learn how you can armor up and go to war for Vision Racing HERE.
As long as it doesn't involve Tony George, I'm in.

I just sent an e-mail to Vising Racing suggesting that they take it a step farther - enable fans to make online contibutions directly to the team's racing program. That would actually make Vision the fan's team. Anyone could become part of Indycar racing by making whatever contribution they could -$10, $50, $100. With the team's strong fan base its likely they would come up with enough money for at least an Indy-only program. They would get tons of free publicity in the process.
If I had the option, I'd contribute a little to the cause. Wouldn't you?

Sorry, like TG I think his team also needs to go the way of the Dodo. And who is to say Tony is no longer involved in the team if it manages to scrounge up a budget this year?
It's not easy to say adios to another team in a form of natural selection; time to weed out the weak so the strong can survive.

"....time to weed out the weak so the strong can survive"
Yes, lets enjoy a 3 team, 10 car series.

There's nothing worse than rich folks asking for a hand out!

A "Letter of Reference" is "a handout"? Really? Try paying your electric bill with letters of recommendation next month and tell us how that works out for you, pal.
It's free - the only thing it costs is your time, which is why I respectfully disagree with Savage Henry on the payout option. That may work in a special situation (like Sarah at Indy a couple years ago) but for the most part it can rub people the wrong way.
A better idea would be to save your money for now and instead use it to patronize whoever ends up actually sponsoring the Vision car. Then you can send another letter to that particular sponsor and let them know what you did and why you did it.
In other words, don't be afraid to activate yourself.
